I can not recommend A Heart for Puppies highly enough. I purchased an adorable mini Golden doodle named Teddi ( previously Lenora) from them 2 weeks ago and she is the most happy, beautiful, sweet and loving furry ball of joy I could have ever dreamed of. I did a lot of research about procuring a puppy and was careful to wait for the right timing to ensure a seamless transition . I am so happy I went with A Heart for Puppies. They were so helpful and supportive throughout the process and answered all of my questions about the puppy, her personality, her needs, training , and the transition to my home. They carefully flew her to me in FL and she arrived perfectly socialized, leash trained , crate trained, and most importantly happy and healthy . Everyone I meet cannot believe how calm, well behaved, and socialized she is and it is very apparent that A Heart for Puppies takes their job of caring for these pups and preparing them for their forever homes very seriously. Sure, they cost a bit more than other places but to me the little bit of extra money is worth every penny to ensure a happy healthy, trained, and well adjusted dog. I couldn’t be happier with my new fur baby and am so grateful to A Heart for Puppies for acquainting me with my new bff Teddi ! If you are looking for the perfect dog, don’t hesitate, go with them - you’ll be glad you did !!!

We received the sweetest golden retriever pup from them. They obviously take great care and raise great pups. Communication was also fantastic. Highly recommend.

With A Heart for Puppies this was no issue at all. Full Health Panel, DNA, and the Dam & Sires Pedigree were provided without hesitation. When we needed an additional DNA test to show that our lil. stud would carry the allele we wanted for future breedings, this was done without question. Customer Service is another deciding factor when my husband and I are purchasing a dog, because we aren’t just buying a dog, we are buying a dog plus certainty that the breeder will be there if something shall arise later on in the puppies life. With A Heart for Puppies, we trust they will be. Mack, Tona and Amos were there for us anytime we had questions and went above and beyond to ensure we were included in the step-by-step transition from their location in Indiana to our home.nWhen a rough patch took place with the courier service that was used, an apologetic phone call was received from Tona and our money was refunded in full.nDozzer is well behaved, well tempered, socialized, hilarious and exceeded our expectations. We just bought our puppy last week and upon taking her to visit the vet for a puppy check up they said they had never seen such a well taken care of puppy before. The buying process was seemless and Mark and Melissa were great and we're there to answer any questions or concerns that we had. Definitely a great place to buy a puppy from.
