Bentley's

We were pleasantly surprised. In our experience, typically the best chefs are not assigned to Sunday. Not sure who was in the kitchen, but the meal was perfect. We thought everything we had was not only good, but the best we have ever had. The preparation of the dishes and the sauces used were often unique.

Food description was off. I ordered seafood risotto and it was basically chewy seafood in a tomato sauce with white rice on top. Poorly seasoned. Appetizers included a grilled slice of cheese with peppers, and creamy texture crab cakes.nnI had high hopes for this place, but it didn’t turn out great. The food were things I could easily make (better) at home. They comped our meal though, as we didn’t want to eat it.nnThe drinks were great though.nnThere are a lot of great reviews, so maybe it was just an off night?

Bentley's is attached to the Grand Hotel and as such, has a beautiful interior. Slight disappointment at first as we entered in off the street rather than through the hotel and therefore it took a while to be noticed (had we walked around to the other entrance, we would have been seated quicker). After that small snafu, we were given a table and served very quickly. We got our food so fast after ordering and it was very hot! The meal was delicious and our server was nice, fun, and lovely. Overall, it was a great dinner experience.

I recently had lunch at Bentley's for the first time. The service and ambiance were great, and the food was fresh, well-prepared and attractive. As a long-time vegan, however, I would have been happier to see more vegan options (including ample protein) on the menu. It was also too pricey for me to eat there very often.

Very attentive service, that when truly watched shines.nThere are clearly Silver Service and Sommelier trained staff about the place and that really impressed me, I didn't expect it.nThe food was excellent, my party had all sorts of requests, each taken in their stride by the staff. I enjoyed the drinks too. I ordered a Russian Mule and it came in a metal vessel, whilst not copper, it was a nod that someone knew, and gave a damn.
