A delicious little gem of a restaurant hidden away a solid 20 minutes south of Lincoln City on the Oregon coast. All of the courses were amazing and completely reasonably priced - this restaurant would fit right in in an urban center like Portland. The restaurant is off the lobby of the attached hotel and quiet with a beautiful view over a cove out to the ocean.nnA huge and pleasant surprise was the pork belly with pear and coffee ice cream over mustard seeds - it was an amazing combination and I will certainly be ordering it again if it is on the menu.

My husband and I came here out of state for our anniversary mostly for the hotel but when we booked our reservation we saw this accompanied upscale restaurant and decided we would give it a try since we both enjoy fine dining. Overall the food was creative, had decent flavor profiles however I don’t recall ordering a side of homophobia. The hospitality was greatly suffering on our visit. They advertise that they are LGBTQ friendly but this was far from the experience we got. When we arrived we were greeted by a waitress who clearly gave us a once over as she continued to set our table while we sat there. No greeting no small talk, just very awkward and void of personality. When ordering she made no attempt to talk about the menu or explain anything. We had a question about the tasting but instead of discussing she abruptly left after telling us she would give us more time. When she returned we ordered our food and drink. Throughout the night she barely checked on us, only to come by when she was bringing or removing plates. Mind you I wouldn’t have cared if this was a busy restaurant but it only sits maybe 8 tables with 2 waiters. In addition it was very noticeable that with her other tables she was very talkative, lively, explaining the menus, offering tastings, and checking in with them about their meals. It overall made the atmosphere very uncomfortable and non inviting. It was very evident there was something about us that prevented her from treating us like the other tables she waited on.

A wonderful tasting menu paired with fine wine. It was a 5 course meal. Tuna, cod, pork belly, wagu beef and dessert. Everything made with local ingredients. They even picked the huckleberry. Loved it.

It was good. It is a formal restaurant so don't go when your really hungry; but if you want an anniversary dinner. Its a good atmosphere. If your on a tight budget though, you might go elsewhere. The food was good and different. Like I said, formal...

The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The view is sublime. Christmas music in October? Are you out of your minds?
