Have been a customer of Salin and later Horizon Bank since they came to Fort Wayne over 20 year's ago. Have had some issues along the way like a couple of cases of fraudulent debit activity and they were very helpful in resolving it. Also we just received a home loan from Horizon Bank and the loan officer (Jas) was very helpful and professional. Would highly recommend.nLike anything else, what you get out of something is a more of a product of what you put into it.
This place is still in the stone age. Cannot pay auto loans online if you dont bank with them, cannot pay over the phone, also cannot pay with a credit card unless you use a cash advance. 0/10 would recommend and going to get away as soon as possible. People are nice but thats about it.
They are so slow on their transactions on the internet. This is not a good bank to go to.
Horrible bank! Holds transactions which leads to errors and overdraft fees. Shady dealings indeed. I will be changing banks in the very near future. I was given misinformation concerning a request for new checks. This led to an overdraft as they processed the charge for the checks incorrectly. Currently I have 7 pending transactions 4 are from last week. Shady shady dealings.
