Phenomenal clam chowder, and you can get a bread bowl to go with it. NOT BAD...

Friday Sept 11, 2020: Lincoln City/Otis is in the middle of a fire emergency. I don't have a home to go back to and most of town has been out of power for the better part of three days. Most all businesses are closed except this one. I went inside to grab menus so my five year old son and I could eat a warm meal. I ordered, I paid and I went and waited at the car for it to be done. I went back in and grabbed our food and drinks and went back to the car to eat. While we were enjoyitoir meal, my son spilled his clam chowder in the back seat. I pulled him out and was cleaning up the mess when Norma (one of the owners) approached us and told us that he can't be here because it's a bar. I explained to her that I am a compliance manager for an OLCC run business and we are perfectly within our legal rights to be in the parking lot eating. Well, she made us leave anyway. I had a whole lot to say to her, but I figured it would do no good, so here I am. Don't support businesses that don't support community members in times of need.

Me and the wifes go to spot every time we come to Lincoln City. We love the dive bar feel. They make you feel like family whenever you come in, and their drinks and food are fantastic. Their oyster shooters are to die for! Also highly recommend their breakfast! Hands down the best breakfast in town.

This was a follow-up visit for us. Went in June and though service was excellent, food left a lot to be desired. Sent them a letter and the owner sent us a $30 gift certificate. This past Monday, quietly ordered food and used the certificate. Service as again outstanding and so was the food. Wife had a chiliburger with tots and I had philly sandwich with tots. Both tasted great and our dog enjoyed her bacon strips. In the letter, I said we would return for a second change and we will return again.
