10/30/20-ordered ice tea it tasted like they brewed or stored it in a old coffee urn. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. There was a good amount of crab but the mushrooms and the cream cheese were not cooked all the way through. My clam chowder was mediocre at best, wife ordered Caesar salad with her meal. It came with French dressing. My entree was sautéed scallops. Scallops were done nice however, the bed of rice it was on was some cold, and it had cheese on it and it wasn’t melted. My wife ordered the Steak Oscar. The steak was cooked nice but there wasn’t any seasoning. I mean 0% salt on the steak. The staff was very nice and friendly and when they noticed we were not eating and asked for the check. They quickly apologized and adjusted the bill. I appreciated the gesture and hope it was just an off night for the cook staff.

The food fell way short of our expectations.

Covid-19 times are difficult for restaurants I get that. They seemed overwhelmed even though they were running at half capacity. I ordered the prawn Alfredo and it was super good! We also ordered steamer clam appetizer and prawn cocktail appetizer. The prawn cocktail came in a big glass filled with ice cubes with six large ponds around it. The cocktail sauce was on a plate with the big glass in a plastic cup. The cocktail sauce was very peppery and I am betting it had cayenne pepper in it. I know because I'm allergic to cayenne pepper. The star of the show was definitely the steamer clams. This is a must order! They were super good and I would go back for more. It was my first time visiting here and I've heard great things about it from lots of people.

While in Lincoln city on an overnight vacation we wanted some seafood and a decent dinner so we chose Pier 101 solely based on it being open for dine in.nnWhile waiting we were able to read through a menu that was posted and we found food that seemed to be enjoyable. These wasn't very many people in the restaurant but we still had to wait for a seat, assuming they were disinfecting them between customers.nnWe ended up getting seated by a small family with 2 children. I wanted a restaurant that was high end and as such was expecting some quiet and peace. We were greater with screaming and crying. The smallest child was constantly either crying or walking around being chased by the parents. I was really a mood killer on what was supposed to be a romantic high end dinner.nnThe food was mediocre at best. My steak was under done, the asparagus was tough and woody. When the meal was done we asked for a marionberry cobbler. While it appeared to be rally good, it wasn't. We both took a bite and it was doughy and really tart. Ended up asking for it be removed from my check.nnI doubt we will ever go back as there was other options, that we wished we had been earlier for. 3 stars is generous.

We tucked into Pier 101 fir a quick cup o chowder and felt like we have walked into a time machine. This appears to maintain its original 1970’s design and fixtures. Even a charming landline in the bar! The food seems a bit traditional and where grandparents would go to reminisce.nIt’d be great on a rainy afternoon by the gas fireplace, especially if you want to go back and relive the 70’s.
