Dr Schleinkofer is AMAZING! His bedside manner was exceptional and was able to diagnose me within the first visit, even though I’d visited countless doctors in the past ten years and had mostly given up hope. He explained things in a way that was easy to comprehend. The other staff were so helpful in setting up appointments etc and I’ve witnessed them being really kind with very difficult patients. Thank you, Parkview Heart Institute for everything!! I can truly say that my life will never be the same.

Unscheduled crazy reaction forced me into ER and stay at Heart Institute this weekend. Absolute wonderful staff and doctors....no one wants to be in a hospital, but I gotta say—spectacular care. They see the person along with the job. (And they didn’t even feed me for this 5-⭐ufe0f Review). THANKS particularly to Susan & Stephanie and the Bears fan that wheeled me to my room from the ER. DOCTORS...were AMAZING ud83eudd8b

I had a heart attack two years ago and recovered at this wonderful hospital. I am so glad I was taken here. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Everyone working here is top notch and so skilled at what they do. I have returned for several more short stays and the care is consistently excellent.

Dr. Patel is superb. Listens closely and answers in language you can understand. My husband is confident with him as his doctor.

Recently had a stay on the 4th and 3rd floor of heart institute. All I can say is one bad apple spoils the bunch. On my second stay, on the 3rd floor, I was told I would have to undergo open heart surgery, only to find out 10 minutes later that they couldn't operate. Communication between doctors was very poor. Also a nurse working on the 3rd floor, who had 25 years of experience (older lady with short hair) gave me a medicine that I was allergic to! Which caused me severe pain and I had to take more medication to counteract what she had done. I believe she willingly did this on purpose. It was in my file, on the computer that listed the meds to give and not to give. She should have lost her license. I will not be returning to that hospital.
