After waiting four months for the only doctor taking new patients at Presbyterian on St Michaels’s I wish to express my overwhelming disappointment. Our goal was to establish a PCP relationship and have the doctor take charge. This is not what Crabtree does. He is not the point of contact and in fact he tells you everything he won’t do and let some other doctor do it. Crabtree is an officious, arrogant, bore who is more interested in telling you what he can’t do rather than helping and trying to problem solve. Presbyterian does itself a disservice by offering him out to unsuspecting new patients as a PCP and Medicare should not have to be charged. Crabtree is not for everyone and perhaps very few “regular” people expecting to develop a professional PCP relationship. If I had to rely on him, I’d start drinking and smoking again and in copious amounts. He comes across as rude and arrogant and typical of end of career doctors taking advantage of the bonus to sign on to a practice in New Mexico. In short, he appears to be overwhelmed and in need of serious professional help. He should not be assigned people looking for a PCP. I don’t like wasting my times and I certainly do not suffer fools easily. Crabtree is not a regular doctor at all and it is his way or the highway which he tells you almost immediately; therefore, from a practice and marketing perspective he has limited value to a practice that hopes to generate revenue. In fact according to staff, it is not unusual after first appointments for patients to ask to be switched. New Mexico deserves better and Presbyterian lowers the bar by such a hiring. He fills a hole, but is a pollutant. If they recommend him, JUST SAY NO!

I had blood work at TriCore at this center and also a Prolia shot at the infusion center at the Presbyterian Hospital. Both experiences were top rate! Protocol for Covid was exceptional at both places. I was in and out in minutes and felt safe and cared for! Also, the staff was very kind and caring...even warmed up my Prolia shot at the infusion center to make it less painful, although the shot was not painful anyway! Hats off to them! Thank you! Diana

I just had an interaction with Monica that answers the phone . I was trying to make an apt for a follow up from his multiple visits to hospital For my dad. She was not pleasant at all .she talked over me and was questioning me about my dad being in hospital and should be between 7 to 10 days after a hospital stay . And he was currently in the hospital right now so she wanted me to wait till he got out. No I'm making an apt for last weeks visit. So she tells me november.? Really? I just hung up.

Stephanie Chirigos cancelled the appointment I had been waiting months for at the last minute and now I have to wait another 4 months to see another doctor. She did it right before a holiday so I'm assuming she had a nice little last minute vacation lined up. I was hoping Pres would be better than St. Victims but now I have my doubts.

We are ecstatic that Presbyterian is here! St Victims nearly killed my husband with over hydrating causing breathing and heart problems after a simple appendectomy. They told me to be prepared he might not last the night! He now has a big bulge where the appendix was taken out. Presbyterian has a culture of caring skilled professionals in heart, ortho, and kidneys issues. Both myself, husband and grandchildren experienced the best care efficiently and correctly! So glad they are here and we finally have an alternative!
