Darlings Marina & RV Resort

We love this place! Out of all of the nearby campgrounds we've stayed at, we've come to love Darling's possibly the most. The grounds themselves aren't anything spectacular- the spots on the hill are more for full-timers, and the ones on the lakefront are for the nightly guests. Lakefront spots are gravel for the RV pads, and sand for the picnic areas at each one. It's pet friendly.nnStaying right on the lake is beautiful, and access to dock/boat fishing is unparalleled in the area. The east side has a bit more tree cover/shade than the West, but the West has (I think) a better nightly view on the lake.nnWhat really makes this little place shine are the owners/staff, and their restaurant/pub and mini store. It's great to grab a burger and a brew if you don't feel like BBQing that evening, and the store helps if you need more tackle, live bait, or forget some common necessities. The owners/staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly, and will help whenever needed if there's an issue or request.nnThis place is our reliable spot when we want to spend a few nights on the coast, and we will come back again and again!

Waiting 1hr for 2 sandwiches and mac & cheese. $45 is a bit much. Sorry, won't be back any time soon.

Family management very hospitable. Their food is delicious. Views from waterfront camp sites are superb. Great and EZ access for boating. My only suggestion is it would be nice if they did the yard/grounds work in the middle of the week instead of on long weekends (Fri-Mon) when you are trying to enjoy the sounds of nature.

Food is really good and Natalie the waitress made it exceptional. What a treat

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly n personable. The food here is excellent! Cute little store with a great variety of items. The lake is beautiful!
