Great place if you enjoy good traditional American food and beer. Plus its in a historic old train station, I really dug that. The food was great, the service was awesome. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely come back.
Awesome environment - I like the vibe. The staff are super friendly! But for the almost $14 price, the turkey sandwich doesnt really have much turkey on it and that was a lil disappointinting. The tater tots were great but I came for the main meal lol. It was like two or three thin slices of turkey folded together... damn. Although the food wasnt what i was hoping, I'll have to come back on a day I'm not working and try some of their beer selection for sure.
Decent food...average to less than portions: $17 salad way too much for amount of food. Fish & Chips also on the less than side.nService very good...along with selection of beers. Adult kids seemed satisfied.
The food was great and so was our waitress but the hostess and restaurant policy was not very good. People were sitting inside and we wanted to sit inside and the hostess said we couldn't because they had to sit every other booth. But another employee was willing to sit us inside at a booth. The hostess told him no. So we sat outside in the heat. Went in to use the restroom and all the booths were occupied. Talked to the hostess about it and she said it was because we'd need an end chair - that we never asked for. We have 3 young boys that would have been fine on one side of the booth. Talked to the manager and he basically waved it off saying the hostess was confused. It's not only that she wouldn't seat us inside she was almost rude about it.
Walked to McMenamins. We forgot our masks. We covered our mouth and nose with our shirts. They would not seat us outside or anywhere in restaurant. But social distancing wasnt being practiced there,everyone seated no face coverings. Large numbers of people side by side. Inside and outside the restaurant.Didnt provide face coverings. This doesn't make any sense. Never will go there again!!!
