NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital: Emergency Services

Just came out of this hospital. The doctor was nice and the gentleman taking my blood pressure. But the nurse assigned to me was rude, told me how I should feel during my pain and insinuated other things when she doesn’t know me. When I asked a question she had a belittling remark to make and made sure to belittle me at any point. During my exam, made sure to tell me to basically get over whatever pain I had. Lacks sympathy, not really sure why she works in this field if she doesn’t want bother with patients. Not to mention touching my face to fix my mask with no gloves on during Covid. This was by far my most horrible experience in a hospital, all the bills we pay to just be treated horribly.

Absolutely the most unprofessional and unethical staff ever. No type of morals. I requested for a female doctor and they refused to give me one, saying it’s not allowed to switch doctors. That’s not okay and not true!nDon’t ever go there! They have no ethics and no morals and no respect for their patients especially women

Incredible rude staff and no help everybody here just wants to be left alone no one wants to do there job. Just go to another hospital this place should be closed down

everyone is always polite and helpful. and its very clean

Went there with chest pain. They took an EKG, and fortunately the kind technician broke the rules and told me it came out okay because he knew I would have to wait FOREVER to see a doctor. And he was right! After waiting for close to 4 hours with a dozen people still ahead of me, and hardly anybody being called in that period of time, I just gave up and went home! It was midnight and my son who drove me to the hospital had to be at work at 6am. Medical care in this country is a disgrace.
