Sushi Mambo

The only time I love coming here is when Antony is working, he is swift sweet and always has good energy for his customers. The food is delicious and Antony makes the best drinks. There have been days when he is doing it all and that's when everything feels right, even though it seems like a lot he makes it look easy! Kudos to Sushi Mambo for hiring such a great person to take care of their place!

The only reason I am even giving them 2 stars is because the food is good and drinks are amazing. Other than that, waiters are extremely rude & inattentive. In the time i spent here there were three different waiters coming to my table completely clueless as to what was going on. When i ordered my food it took more than an hour to get to me because my order was never put in by the waiter who came to my table. The original waiter then rudely told us that we were suppose to wait for her yet she disappeared for long periods of time. Anyway this establishment has the ability to do so much better if they had better customer service.

They are currently selling groupons, which I bought, and ordered for pick up. They told me they are not accepting Groupons “during the pandemic” . So basically they are continuing to advertise and sell a product/service which they are not honoring. They said when or if the pandemic ends I could make a reservation and come back, but if they aren’t honoring their own terms of service now— I doubt they’ll decide to in the future long after the groupon has expired. They had already made the food and I had a baby with me, and the waiter was nice enough to call the owner to see if they would make an exception. The answer was no. It was a Wednesday night and there were plenty of open tables outside. I’m really big on supporting local businesses but I’ll not be back here. I only had enough money on me to pay for two of the rolls. They were mediocre at best and small (tiny 8 pieces per roll) (most sushi restaurants charge $6 at most for traditional rolls. The Spicy salmon was just small salmon with spicy mayo, not mixed and no crunch.

Food is usually really good, but I just called at 12:45 pm and the female that answered was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked a simple question regarding their sitting area since it is raining and I am aware that we will be seated outside. I was basically wondering if they had tent/umbrella or not and she flipped out talking about how she cannot control the rain and that she will simply put me in a corner where i would get wet the least. It was a yes or no answer. All I asked was if there were umbrellas or a tent to sit under but her tone and energy was very heavy and aggressive. That completely changed my mode and desire to go there. Stood home and ordered in.
