St. Joseph's Children's Hospital

my daughter tried to commit suicide, once we got her stable the hospital recommended she be transferred to a mental health institution for a few days . The one I picked was full so we needed to wait for a bed while we waited there was NO counselor that came and talk to her .nThe hospital stated they do not have a counselor that comes and talks to the children while they are waiting for placement ... ummm ud83eudd14 how do you have a suicide unit and no type counseling or therapy for these children! Shame on you !!!! The PEDS staff was wonderful but they really need to get these children some counseling while they are waiting for placement !nWhen I brought this up to the doctors they stated “you have a good point “ that was it !

Very poor service. Very poor patient care. They don't treat patients with care they don't check on patients to make sure they are ok they nurses just sit around.

A friend of mine was admitted to the OB-GYN ward. Was shocked to see the food that she got while i was visiting. Cold soggy fries and a cold tasteless size of a thumb baked cod. Shocking. If you don’t know how to cater for patients, don’t. At least give them warm food. Patients are humans. Even we treat our animals better. I wonder if their main doctor Dr. Principe knows about this bad operations management.

Very poor service .so slow .I came for my daughter at 7.23 pm right now 10 pm . until now they didn't call me .there are 3 more to go .one person take 40 to 45 minutes

Very poor service been here sence 10 pm now is 3am they havent call me call tree people they got later then me is not fair my son has asma and high fever.they need to improve .horrible.
