Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center

I went to Palisades hospital for a ring removal from my finger. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They did everything possible to not break the ring, but unfortunately it had to be cut. Shortly after, it was removed thanks to the young female doctor and the nurses. I appreciate all of their help and I will go back in the future.nThank you so much!

I had shoulder surgery two weeks ago. The staff, all the way from admission through my release could not have been nicer. The hospital is extremely clean and well-organized. There were plenty of staff members who were able to help any patient with any need they had.

Initially I left a 1 star negative review but later I changed my mind to 4 star because of the following. After my 1 star review the relationship team representative contacted me on the same day and promised to follow up. Then I got a surgery and in the surgery room everybody was nice. Nurses, doctor and other personnel were nice and processional. The surgery per se was completed successfully.nnMy initial review was as follows:nnI was scheduled for the surgery today. The medical nurse came out of the admitting hole at the first floor, and she was totally disrespectful. She had curly black long hairs and dark blue dress. It seems like she is not from the admitting department, she just did pass by and then went to the area behind the reception. I asked her what to do if I came for surgery and she totally ignored me. I asked her again and she asked to wait. Then she came back and ignored my questions again. Then she just ran away. So disrespectful. If I would have a choice I would definitely choose a different clinic for a surgery. I wouldn't trust my life to such disrespectful personnel.

If you ever need urgent medical help you should avoid this hospital at all costs. Not only they won't be able to help you but also they will misdiagnose you.

Don’t go here. My mother was rushed here by the ambulance and spent 3 days waiting for a “transfer” to the hospital where she’s normally treated. They lost her ID and insurance card, and when I called to find out no one could give me answers. They did a CT scan and saw “something” which when I spoke to my mother the doctor had told her was cancer!!!! Knowing my mother’s medical history I knew they had no idea what they were talking about. That Friday morning 2 doctors called me to authorize an endoscopy and BIOPSY that HAD to be done that day because if not she had to wait until Monday because they don’t work weekends. I refused to authorize the procedure and they told me that she was going to be discharged, luckily I was already in the lobby and got her out of this place. Later on she had an MRI that showed absolutely NOTHING wrong with her. Unless it’s an emergency STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
