I came to this emergency room yesterday with an asthma attack, they literally did not adhere to my emergency ud83dudea8. The nurse on duty was unreceptive unprofessionally most insensitive. I had to go to another hospital ud83cudfe5 on 59st I am going to consult an attorney. At the other hospital I was found to have a mass in my throat. Don’t come to this emergency room.they put peoples lives at risk here. They don’t care! Horrible place, it’s more of a death sentence here than anything else. Be very careful here. The nurse was Asian.horrible!

We live next to the hospital, my roommate is old and sometimes he has emergency. Guess what ambulance never arrives, what a joke! Best healthcare in the world my a$$

Went to visit my step dad with my mom. Because of the current situation both could not go up...understandable. however my mom was not allowed to register and stand on the line for those who registered while i came back down...so she waited downstairs in the lobby in line#1 to register and let others go ahead of her. This is a 74 year old woman. I come down in 30 minutes to find a different guard who was not present upon our arrival accusing my mom of skipping. I asked what the problem was, he says she was supposed to be waiting outside, which we were not told to do. So a 74 year old woman should stand...outside... in the heat (or rain)? This hospital did not clearly think of a plan for the elderly who have to wait.

We had visited the cardiovascular outpatient unit (second floor)couple times, always we had absolutely bad experience. Eventhough we took appointment, Always the waiting is more then 1 hour. In this Covid situation, making people wait like this is completely unfair. Specially for the patient had heart surgery early this July 2020. The front desk staff is totally irresponsible. We don't recommend this location.

At it's best it is exceedingly average and at it's worst it is really bad. The doctors are indifferent and unprofessional. My spouse was transferred here against wishes ( wanted to go to New York Presbyterian) recently. The attending physician could not be found for hours. A request to a Dr. Hernandez to email x-rays to a doctor at Hospital for Special Surgery (Chief of Surgery at HSS) were ignored. If you find yourself needing help when across the street from this hospital, go elsewhere.
