Planned Parenthood - Englewood Health Center

Not a bad place but they should honor those first who has an appointment, walk ins will have to get in where they fit in, I work so when I make an appointment I expect that appointment time to be honored so I can continue my day, but other than that staff is nice and new doctor is nice

Im upset at the tactlessness of the staff. You are all supposed to be professionals but when I asked if my best friend could accompany me in the room, the doctor(nurse,idk?) turned to another employee, blew out her cheeks and held her hands far from her side, and waddled, to signify the other person was heavy. That was extremely childish and unprofessional. I cant believe that even happened to be honest.

My Medicaid was terminated and I was and am still going through this process.. Unfortunately I am on medication. Birth control being one of the medications. I went as a walk in. I was prepared to wait, considering I was a walk in. I waited less than an hour. I am on a payment plan, until my insurance is straightened out- it can be submitted within 3 months issues...So, i have set up a plan with the front desk.nLike the other girl who wrote the not good review, I was asked to pay much more. I'm not sure why she didn't say something, because there are signs even saying your health is important, regardless of your issues or whatever... I think that was an unfortunate misunderstanding.nHowever, I was totally unable to pay the high price and I do have a payment plan until I can submit it to my insurance again for a reimbursement and they can submit it as well for the rest of the payment. It is what it is. I left with my birth control in a little over an hour. : )nThe staff was very nice, and the office had warm vibes. It's much nicer than when I was in my teens...nI have always had a spot in my heart for Planned Parenthood and you guys have never let me down... I am very grateful. Thank you xx

Planned Parenthood is simply a ripoff service, they say it's affordable or free but simply look how you dress or look and then give you the price, I dont have health insurance nor all the money to pay for medical, so i went there to get STD tests done and regular check up because going to other clinic its gonna cost me alot. And oh boy i was wrong.. this place charged me $400 for std tests! Only because they thought i have the money! I told them i dont have $400 and they asked me to pay $300 instead which is still ridiculous and i had to give all my money to them, i left there with $10 in my pocket. And all i wanted was regular std tests. Everybody said planned parenthood ripped me off. Shame on you!
