Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus

STAY AWAY: We came driving 2 hours to visit a family member just to get notified that rules have changed yesterday and visiting hours end an hour earlier. There was NO NOTICE about this change. We drove 2 hours just for that and had to return another 2 hours without being able to see our close relative for whom we came. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. And the cold face of the rep telling us we can’t go in even though they failed to give notice about that dumb change and we drove 4 hours with zero sympathy or empathy what so ever. WOW.

The nurses were caring. A general calm and caring atmosphere prevails. They were available to care whenever I came to visit my mom. The entrance security people handing out the visitor stickers are so good. Flexible, understanding, and sensitive staff. What an experience. Than you!

Emergency room was great, but after admitted nursing services poor. They are friendly and nice, but didn’t provide basic services my mom needed. Filing complaints.

The doctors are very helpful along with the nurses. They work long hours at times sometimes even pull doubles when others don't arrive. They also take the work very serious in case something happens. I was able to go home after major tests was being done. The first news I received was a blot clot in the lung the second news was I'm good tests proved I was ok. I do feel they should explain more details of what the first reactions were. But other than that I'm happy to see my wife and children.

Very courteous staff. Never any problems.
