Shore Pulmonary, P.A.- Brick

Run!!! The office staff are not friendly or helpful. Responses are snarky and curt. Waited close to two hours from appointment time and was then rushed. Not acceptable on any level. Went to Brick office building and most people walking in the building did not wear a mask. If you feel you need to come to Shore Pulmonary NEVER come to the Brick office.

I Love all the Dr's here, on numerous occasions, they have saved my Life

Very unprofessional would not see me even though I was on time for my appointment that I left work for!!!!! I had an appointment today July 7, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. When I got to the office I found the door to be locked, I knocked but no one answered even though I could see the receptionist. I called the office and Jeanne answered. She could not hear me that well so she hung up. I walked back to the building lobby and called back; I was placed on hold. I hung up and called back again. I was told I was supposed to call from the parking lot upon my arrival, I responded that I was not told this when I made the appointment. The person on the phone rudely responded that I was left a message on my home phone the day before and they do not tell you this information when you make an appointment. I stated that I filled out all of my paperwork on their portal and both my phone numbers were listed. I was told they do not have a patient portal and the only way I could have submitted paperwork was via fax!!!!! I stated I was in the building lobby and can show them the email they sent me confirming my patient portal account was created and the paperwork was complete. I was informed it was to late past my appointment time as it was now 3:45 and they could not see me!!!!!!! A nurse then took my call and confirmed they do have a patient portal but she could not find my paperwork and she is sorry but she would have to reschedule because they had another patient coming in at four. I explained once again that I arrived on time and that I am sick and have been patiently waiting for this appointment. They simply did not care!!!!!!! I will now how to remain sick while I await getting a new appointment with another provider.

Lack of Quality Patient CarenI cannot begin to tell you how their patient care has declined. Having been a patient since the late 1980s, Dr. Markowitz was a man who had a way of treating the patient along with their aliment.

This is a chronic problem. Physician walks into exam room without having read the chart and guesses at your history, or doesn't recall ever having seen you before. Actually sent me for a sleep study and the lab had the wrong script. What a $1500 waste of time. I actually had a lot of respect for this practice until I started seeing these missteps thatthat cost me financially. Very disappointed.
