I've never been in the shop in person, as I'm about 7 hours away, but I can't say enough good things about their online shop and customer service. I've ordered many plants from them and they are always very well packaged and shipped quickly, and their communication is on point. The one time a plant went downhill quickly after arrival (which happens from time to time with any seller), they were super responsive and helpful, and even shipped out a new plant with no questions asked. These are some great people, and I love supporting them (and their excellent plants)!

We love ILLExotics! All of their staff are incredibly knowledgeable on both plants and reptiles and incredibly friendly! This place is definitely more than your average plant store - you can find RARE plants here and Franco is always taking requests for “wish list plants” that his customers have their eyes on. If you love plants (or reptiles!) they are 100% worth the visit.

The first plant shop I ever went to once I became a planty parent! Everyone who works there is SO friendly and so knowledgeable. Every plant in the shop is healthy and beautiful. Will continue shopping here as long as I am in Philly :)

Took the time to drive 30+ mins to this spot after it very quickly caught my eye online. Very beautiful interior, I love the wide variety of tropical plants and reptiles! However, upon browsing, a young employee who had previously asked me (twice) if I needed anything after responding no thank you, stopped me to tell me to “Fix my mask” and proceeded to stare me down aggressively until I “fixed it”. I continued browsing as I figured my mask was on right..? But this was not the case as I still felt him staring aggressively. I would give this place one star for that sole first experience, but because of the appealing ambiance of the store, I’ll give it a second. I was going to make a purchase here too, but decided to leave as I felt uncomfortable at that point. Shame. My best advice to the owners would be to hire more respectful employees who know how to talk to people. Maybe I’ll be back in the future.

Amazing amazing amazing store and staff! So knowledgeable and friendly, they completelynhelped us build our standing’s day gecko home from the ground up and made sure we had everything we needed to be new gecko parents. 10/10! Will definitely be back for some houseplants!
