I was admitted in the emergency room last Monday. I stayed in the emergency room for 26 hours. At first it was okay, getting blood work, etc. Then I was put in a holding area of the ER - finally after 9 hours with no food or water, I asked for both. I was given a juice box, cracker pkg and a one slice turkey sandwich. After still in the emergency room at midnight (12 hours there),I was told that they were moving me into the hallway of the ER (crowded, loud traffic, and brightly lit. I declined and didn’t want to go - it looked like a herd of sheep that were pushed together. I was upset. The young male aide told me he was getting the supervisor. I was forced to move - still no room upstairs for me. I was not offered any drinks, hospital gown, nor socks, nor blanket or pillow. I requested a pillow and blanket and stayed dressed and stayed awake all night. I requested a sleeping pill was was denied. I never slept and after the shift change at 7, a kind nurse offered me a cup of coffee and a menu. At around noon I was moved to the 8th floor in their hall. No room for me still. A room was ready for me on Tuesday at 3:00, right after y team of doctors said that I could go home. Go figure!! I have never had such horrible treatment in any ER hospital and will make sure I never go there again. The team of doctors were great but you can keep the ER! I went home and slept 15 hours straight due to my ER nightmare. Horrible.

I went here instead of Jefferson/Kennedy in Cherry Hill and this was many times a better experience. They have accountability, there were many follow up surveys after I was discharged, there was hardly any wait time at the emergency department, and I did not wait long before I was seen by the doctor and treated. They did a really good job on my stitches, I was treated well, and everyone was transparent about my billing and paperwork. Not only that but they had really legitimate and robust follow up to ensure everything was good and that I was happy with my experience. It is this kind of accountability that makes for great healthcare!

After years of treatments and doctor appointments at U of Penn, I relocated to NewJersey and joined the Cooper medical treatment team! It’s been incredible, the attention and services provided by doctors nurses and staffing from making appointments to interaction with medical staff for testing and procedures. it’s been wonderful!nI can actually say after years of back pain I am almost pain free, due to a set of multiple injections instead of one injection from U of Penn! I should have made the move sooner! I love Cooper! I love it soo much I decided to work at Cooper! I want to be on a winning team!

so far this is a nightmare. sitting at cooper hospital in Camden NJ in ER waiting room 3 hours waiting to be admitted and not getting anywhere. people are coming and going and I sit. I was ok and understanding until this one guy just came in and because he knew someone he got a room right away. I heard the guy tell him that. but I sit. they told me it would be a while for me but he got one. So what’s the deal? And no his was not an emergency, they were laughing. I left. I will go to another hospital.

I have been trying to get a hold of Labor and Delivery Triage for 2hrs!!!! And they keep hanging up on me. I just want to ask about a fall and I can't even get a hold of anyone. This is ridiculous! I am 2 weeks away from 40 weeks and now have to find a new OB because I WILL NOT GIVE BIRTH AT COOPER.
