My experience here regarding the care of my mom was exceptional! One team member after the other consulted with me and made my opinions regarding my mom's care heard. The team and doctors meet with me. They did all they could to help her. They have an excellent team and I am glad my mom was able to get care there the last days on earth. I felt supported through the whole process. I would highly suggest this facility!

Exceptional care at this facility, very good to me. Amazing caregivers. When I came in I was very sick and now I feel 100%. I’m now able walk without breathing issues. The food is excellent and I’m very picky. I would highly recommend Acuity to others and have already. The physical therapists were very good. Everyone was so accommodating. Everything was just great!

My father was a patient at Acuity last year. Our experience here was fantastic. My dad made leaps and bounds in his recovery thanks to the team at this hospital he was able to get complete off of the vent and now only has weekly physical therapy. The nurses and respiratory here are top notch and always answered our questions and addressed our concerns. While I hope to never need it again, I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

A family member had to stay at Acuity's long term acute care hospital and we had a horrible experience. We had done research online prior to the admission and we learned that LTAC hospitals in general provide poor quality of care. We hoped this place would be different but unfortunately, this place proved us wrong. I highly do not recommend you send anyone you care about to this place. A lot of neglect and abuse occurred while my family member was here. She is now traumatized and breaks down in tears anytime someone asks her about her stay. For example, one aide said to her what the f do you want now?! when she asked for help. Note: the aide said the full curse word. Please DM me if you want to know more details.nnSome of the individual nurses and staff we managed to talk to were OK but overall, the administration and attitudes of most of the staff were unhelpful and uncaring. Due to Covid-19, family couldn't visit so it was very difficult to keep in touch with our family member. We were told that staff were stepping up to help keep us in touch but it was like pulling teeth. They acted like we were crazy because we wanted to keep in touch with our family. We would have to leave multiple messages just to get any response.nnWe also dropped off some personal effects for her and when she was discharged, her bag was missing! We asked around and everyone said they never saw it or had no idea where it was. Thank goodness, the bag was not expensive or sentimental, it was just something to put her personal belongings in but we were really upset at the idea that a healthcare professional may have possibly stolen a patient's property.nnWe were also told that patients were being turned every 2 hours to avoid bedsores. That obviously did not happen, as our family member came home with a huge bloody, open sore all over lower back and rear. It's just now starting to heal because we are diligent about repositioning her constantly. Some of the staff here should be ashamed to call themselves healthcare providers.
