Overland Hotel & Saloon

Spoke to the manager for a whopping 2 minutes before he hung up on me... Ouch, completely rude, we'll good ahead and scratch this place off the list.

I have lived in Fallon for 16 years I have stayed at the Overland for about 8 or 10 of those years. Now I have been here almost 2 years now. Well now I am employed here I am the maintenance man by day and night. I also clean and ready the bar before it opens then at night I manage the Hotel this place is over a 120 years old. The memories are endless. The new Owner (who bought the overland some time ago)Dave Barkley. Is and shall be my friend till the day I or he passes. I could always get a shower if I asked or a place to stay when I was starting over with a new job and a new gall a new life start. And now the Dinner is open again (Angry Dave's is the name and the food is good and always fresh ingredients)

The bar is so quaint, and unique. Great service.

Well it's not a Basque restaurant. They wouldn't serve us alcohol in the restaurant and when we all decided on coffee they said no at first then when we got it it was cold. They charged us for 4 bottled waters even though the waitress poured it from pitcher. They told my father Inlaw that they couldn't do well done on his steak and his beans would have been good if they were warm. I could go on but I think you get the picture.
