My husband, Matthew Velez got his very first job there at seed mill. At first, he asked for about $15 starting wage because he knew his ability and effort is worth the salary regardless of his deafness. He had several experiences with other side jobs. But the manager looked at him like unsure because of him being deaf so he started with $10 which he accepted it because he wanted to grab the opportunity. (Looking and considering at him discriminating him thinking he don't have the ability to work due to being deaf.) For almost 2 years of his full 100 percent hard work, his pay was not raise and not meet his expectation. Throughout 2 years, there was lack of communication with manager, no closed captioned provided for daily agriculture assignments online, no ADA access for him as he been request several times, asking manager for needs such as cleaning etc or report issues in the seed mill like electricity shock (yet manager keeps putting off those thing that are essential for job daily.) As he was working there, he gave so much more than 100 percent of effort and made the company more successful with his ability he had. The reason he left this job because his pay didn't meet his expectation for his family need, yet he still LOVE his job and been fighting for his salary that should be worth as much as his effort and ability he had there. Not only that, he obviously felt a total DISCRIMNATION because one of the worker was hired with more than $12 an hour with no experience like he was the first time he worked there. Yet, the manager asked me to teach that employee to show how to do fertilizer, bobcat and forklift. He didn't feel that was right to him. He feels like he's being taken advantage of his ability and effort by the manager specifically Jason and the company. About a couple of months later, he realized he definitely miss his job so much that he decided to contact his boss from seed mill to see if he can get this job back with little more of pay and work there for more more many years because of the location is where he and his mini family loves to live there. His boss told him that he talked with Jason the manager and told him that to come in the office when we were moving back to Missouri from Florida which he knew about it. So he actually did and came into the office to get his job back once we moved back there. Jason told him that he will need Matt to work in the same position as before and will call and let him know in couple of days. In a couple of days later, no call or nothing heard from him. He decided to call back to find out. All Jason told him is that no you're not going to work because you miss work days and tried to hung up on him as he tried to tell him that he doesn't miss lot of days of work. He was confused and figured out why. He never miss a day of work except when he was playing 2 deaf basketball tournaments at 2 different times. He had already requested the manager to see if he can go and play deaf basketball tournament which the manager said that was approved but without pay which Matt did accepted that. other than that he has never miss lot of days of work compare to other employees he worked with that got chances to work again when he didn't get his chance. The manager should have communicate with him like warning him not to miss work or he will get fired but they NEVER DID ONCE. All they do is tell him that you doing great job at work. He feels TOTAL DISCRIMNATION from the manager and the company. Now he is having hard time mentally not let that job go as he really LOVES and enjoy this job and wants continue to make this company more successful daily by his hard work and effort. Eric the manager asked Matt why and he explain at McDonald where he approach each other. Matt is having hard time in his daily life struggle hard to not accept this situation where he felts like he deserve a second chance. He feels like Jason is trying to make himself look good and make him look bad when he NEVER had any issues at work. Plan sue the company for his discrimination and mentally affect his daily life.

We bought a safe. They said oh yeah we deliver. They can bring it Monday or Tuesday. But what they didn't say was that they won't bring the safe in our house. So I don't want our $1000 safe sitting in our yard. Maybe they should say no we don't deliver safes. I'll never shop there again.
