Iron Barley is the best place to eat in High Ridge. From the food to the service, I know I can come here and get a great experience. All the wait staff is super nice and attentive to your needs.nnDrinks: Not to many places in the area where you can have a great craft beer selection and cocktails made with fresh ingredients.nnFood: This place make me learn to always ask about specials. Their specials are always unique and easily some of the best food I have had in my life.nnService: Service is great even when they are super swamped. Bartenders always watch for when you need your next drink and have it ready when you finish one.nnOwners: They are such great people and always give back to the community and support our troops.nnI cannot say enough great things about this place and would recommend it to anyone. Its much better than all other places in High Ridge and is one of the reason I love living in the area.

I always get great food and drinks at Iron Barley's High Hog Ridge. Whether you're wanting bar food like fries and chili dogs, great BBQ or authentic German dishes (I've had the schnitzel and spaetzle the last two times I've been there--so tender and flavorful!), you'll find unique and made-from-scratch dishes here. The wait staff is always friendly and willing to joke with the table. The bartender is always willing to make my husband a hurricane. And we love it when they have live music to listen to while we hang out with our friends. For those of us in the High Ridge area, we're happy to have a local eatery to support, especially during these difficult economic times. (FYI: They have outdoor seating and physically distanced seating inside--something I appreciate.) And for those of you who used to enjoy Iron Barley in south city, drive out to try this location. Same great people, same great food, bigger space!

Server was extremely nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was amazing!!! Ribs were grilled perfectly and the dessert was hands down the best around!! Everything homemade including the ice cream.

Stiff drinks & smoked meats. Patio seating or at the bar. Lunch buffet & menus vary, Saturday off menu items are awesome & only available until the dish has been consumed.
