My husband and I love this place! It's our go to place when we get time out alone. The dry rub ribs are the best around and all the meats are smoked. BBQ corn on the cob is delicious! Always clean, service and people are always great. Prices are affordable.

Drove up to Joplin today with the intent of eating somewhere else, but walked out after horrible customer service. Found Red Hot & Blue through the navigation in our vehicle. Soooooo glad we did!nnProfessional crew from the hostess to the wait staff. We were seated right away and our order was taken timely. Wait staff was very knowledgeable about their menu items and was helpful with recommendations.nnFood was hot, flavorful and seasoned well. We ordered the pulled pork fries and split the three meat plate. Hot bbq sauce is not for the weak taste buds (you have been warned). Sweet sauce was flavorful and not overpowering.nnThanks Bridgette for your excellent customer service and friendly demeanor. You made our trip worth while. We will definitely make the two hour trip again in the future!!!

I just got carry out from here for the first time. Was not impressed especially for the price and small portions. I was expecting it to be alot better, everyone in town says it's the best... The pulled pork was the only thing that was halfway decent. Their mashed potatoes had an intense amount of salt in them, to where you could barely taste the potatoes, the chicken and ribs were extremely dry, the ribs were burnt, and the beans were overcooked. I would not recommend, and will not be dining here again.nnUpdate: I emailed the email that was given to me by the owner and never got a response back or anything. Poor food and poor service. If you want good BBQ go about 60 miles north to Nevada, MO and eat at Buzz's BBQ. Buzz's will blow you away.

Three words: So. Much. Food. I have been a fan of Red Hot & Blue since it opened up in Joplin when I was a kid. This trip did not disappoint. I had the 3 meat dinner with both sweet and spicy sauces. The meat was prepared perfectly and the spicy sauce was unusually hot. I loved it!
