Hy-Vee Market Grille Express

My husband, grandson and I went to the Raytown HyVee Market Grille for dinner Friday night. I waited for someone to take my order at the counter, no one ever came to the counter so we sat down at the table. Still no one came. I was never acknowledged by the bartender who was stuffing his face behind the bar so my husband went up to the bar in hopes to get some attention from him and he continued to stuff his face. When he turned around he walked right past my husband did not acknowledge him in anyway shape or form And went to the counter where I tried to order like I was supposed to and rang someone out. I confronted him and he informed me I was supposed to order at the very counter that he was at so I informed him I stood there waiting for him or someone to take my order and nobody came. I advised him I in fact looked at him several times trying to get his attention while he was eating behind the bar and he never acknowledged me. As my husband, grandson and I were walking out he had the audacity to yell out have a great night. I complained to the Hy-Vee store manager who took my name number and complaint and said he would have the market Grille manager call me immediately. Well it’s been 24 hours since the incident no one has called. My husband called and asked for the manager and he was placed on hold and he finally hung up. The market grill on Noland road is phenomenal we will continue to patronize that store I will never step foot back in the Raytown store.

Nice place but that atmosphere needs help. Just something to keep you from realizing your eating in a grocery store. On the other hand you know the food is fresh. Dont forget to checking out Tuesday night

Great service and food. This crew always goes above and beyond to ensure we are happy. The soda machine was on the fritz and we couldn't get anything other than water, even with their help. It had something to do with the H.F. corn syrup mixer. They do have specials that are worth making sure you get there before 6 pm for happy hour. The hand cut fries are perfection and the burgers are really decent sized, more than I could ever eat. They have a fantastic Reuben that'd make your tummy quite happy.

Wow this place is wildly unprofessional. Staff here seem uninformed, and uninterested. Which is sad. Floor is dirty, tables are dusty. They have dirty cleaning rags hanging on the bar. Literally just watched a lady wipe her nose, then make someone's drink. Basically the bad service, and poor cleanliness ruined whatever chance the food gave the place.

Eat in dining. Good food.
