I have been going to JCMG since it opened. I like that it has everything you need in one place. My Doctors are taking very good care of me. I have medical conditions that have been life threatening and they pulled me through. I am 71 and doing well.

Waited over an hour with a appointment didn't give me no bnb paper work on how to self care or told me anything just got a broken sternum heres some pills thankyou bye

My name is Lori Elliott. I grew up in Jefferson City and Dr. Kimlinger was my primary my whole life until he retired. He referred me to Dr. Sides when I was about 27. I've been with Dr. Sides for 11 years. When I was 12 a rheumatologist in Columbia diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. At that time no one knew about it and it was very rare. That doctor retired. Dr. Sides has been my life saver. Before him I wasn't on any medication except muscle relaxers which I could not take having young babies and was in the worst pain imaginable. Plus raising 2 boys and 2 step sons and working full time.nI got to the point where I couldn't hardly walk. I had to quit my career. Then after seeing Dr. Sides my life turned around. He was the first doctor who really cared about me and the pain I was experiencing. He listened to me and has a very big heart but also tells you what you need to hear. He told me I needed to eat healthy and exercise as well. He gave me medicine that really helped. It allowed me to even be able to exercise and I lost 40 pds and stayed away from fast food, processed foods and flour. I was able to go back to teaching at Merrell University and I ended up opening my own nationally accredited school and have been working 12 hour days for 8 years. I drive from the lake to him. I'm just now getting worse and not able to work. I highly recommend him. He also called me himself to inform me that my blood levels were very low and I needed to go to the hospital. What doctor calls you personally? They always have a staff member do it. So I would recommend him to anyone.

I've been going to JCMG for years now. I love that all the offices, alternative services, labs, and out patient services are all in one place. I'd like it better if the doctors would coordinate together more for a patients care. Otherwise, I have always felt heard and they continue to find ways to help me on my journey. I prefer their services to Captial Regional any day.
