I've had chest pains since May. It took them two months to get me through a stress test to show there was nothing wrong with the heart. Two months! And they still have no clue what is causing the chest pains.nGood luck getting a real doctor, they are staffed to the hilt with nurses. I've been through about 4 primary care nurses - never had a real doctor for my primary care.nThey've also been working to find an allergist for me - since April!nThis facility has no sense of urgency to address your medical needs.

My husband is a veteran and uses 4 catheters a day. I ordered more catheters on August 20. When I never received them, I called the pharmacy. The pharmacist never ordered them! I have tried to contact the patient advocate and got no response. I have called the director, no response. Good job Poplar Bluff! I guess I'll have to take him to the ER to get him catheterized!! The VA can pay the bill.

They killed my grandma by dropping her out of the bed breaking her hip and rupturing her appendix. The doctor told me she was better off dead. Then my grandpa had a heart attack so I went to visit. They had his wrist stappee with leather so I had to cut em off with my knife. It was so bad he was bleeding down his arm. I'm now banned from there. That was in 96. On a side note I went to visit my grandma everyday and had to check her meds because they had messed up several times.

The Chaplain was nice enough to give us money out of his own pocket to help my father and I get food. My father is an Army Veteran and we are currently homeless, along with his service dog, Achilles. We have tried the SSVF, HUD VASH, and two Case Workers at this VA and they were completely useless! We are still without food and shelter! It’s great the you can serve your country but they do nothing to serve you when you need it most. We were told that we cannot receive housing assistance because of his dog, which is a registered service dog, so that makes no sense! The VA needs to do more to serve our heroes!
