My House Nightclub & Sports Bar

Went here 2 days ago and bought 2 drinks and somehow ended up getting charged three separate times for a total of $63. Not happy about the way this has been handled.

Not only was their door guy will very rude towards me their “bar manager” with long dark hair was very rude towards me and made rude remarks that I prefer not to posy online. This place I DO NOT recommend. These two employees should not be allowed to work in this type environment

Requested Low Rider by War (George Lopez Theme Song) multiple times. Even paid, only for 30 seconds of an EDM remix to play. I just feel like we deserved the whole song. But it's whatevernnEdit: Paid the DJ $5 at the end of the night and got to hear the whole song. Great ending.

My fiancé, his best friend and I finally decided to try My House last night after hearing some good reviews from friends. We frequent a lot of raves and dance parties, so our expectations were high for Columbia’s most popular nightclub.nUnfortunately, it was the worst bar we’ve been to yet. We waited 30 minutes to get in, cover charge was $10, and the drinks were overpriced and filled with ice. The outside portion had porta potty bathrooms that were disgustingly wet and no sinks. The dance floor outside was smooshed against the bar, so drunk people were always pushing their way through and breaking up any dancing that started. Also there were wire tables right behind the dance floor/in front of the bar that could have been moved to give the bar lines and dance floor more space.nThe inside had a different atmosphere and better flow in terms of furniture/space, but there weren’t any people really dancing inside. That’s what I really look for in nightlife, and My House just didn’t have it. May have been the crowd that night, but I don’t want to pay a $10 cover for an experience that may not even be happening.nI’ll give credit when it’s due though, and those DJs were amazing. We only stayed as long as we did because we enjoyed hearing what they mixed. I personally loved how the inside looked as well, but it just wasn’t lit. I wouldn’t go again. More underclassmen than an ENG 1000 lecture.
