I was referred to Dr Meyers by a close friend. Abby, my 15 year old Yorkiepoo needed to have dental work done, and in the process had to have all her teeth removed. Horton Animal Hospital was very professional, caring and took really good care of her. They answered all my questions everyday in the healing of her mouth. She’s recovering nicely and I would refer any else who loves their Fur babies like I do to this hospital. Thank you Dr Meyers and to your staff also.
They are easy to get ahold of, very friendly and my dog Oscar was well taken care of. I called my the vet I had taken my dog to for several years when I had an emergency and they told me there was nothing they could do and they couldn’t fit him in for days. I came across Horton Animal Hospital after someone suggested I call them and though they were very busy they made an exception for his emergency. I have now switched to Horton because I know they truly care about Oscar. The vet and staff were so nice, responsive and patient with explaining his treatment thoroughly to me. A staff member met me at my car to grab my pup, I immediately knew he was in good hands. I highly recommend Horton Animal Hospital and I couldn’t be happier that I found Oscar a new vet that really cares!
They are very reliable and professional ever judge me on any questions I may have. Great packages as well, sir George always comes back to me happy and energetic. I love that they are a “paws only” clinic makes me feel safer. They also included a “health” binder for sir George, and taught me on what is healthy and isn’t healthy. Great place! Thank you all.
I found an orphaned 2-week old kitten trapped in a wall in a shed. It was so tiny and had a slight prolapse, so I wanted to get it to the vet right away. My regular vet was on vacation for the next two weeks, so I called Horton NE as a new client. They got me in that day and I was so thankful. Dr. Schlotzhauer has been great to work with and I’ve been so pleased with the care my kitten has gotten there since that first visit. I am taking advantage of the Kitten Healthy Start package for her first-year preventatives, which is an economical way to get her set up for a healthy life. Everyone in the office has been very nice and helpful, their prices are more reasonable than other vets in town, and I appreciate their business practice restrictions they have in place to keep everyone safe through the pandemic. I highly recommend Horton Animal Hospital NE.
