Vargas Restaurant Bar & Grill

We stopped here on the way home from a job. I had the Vargas special and my wife had the Sonora plate, we both VERY MUCH enjoyed the food and attentive service. There was initially a small issue in that our server did not speak very much English, but we got over that. This is a delightful place, a fabulous building, and great staff. We would absolutely visit here again.

Sign out front says “The best Mexican food” and let me tell you it is far from the best. Chips were terrible. Food was VERY bland. Chicken fajita taco tasted awful. Ground beef enchilada was not much better. Only thing that tasted fine was the coors light.

Food and service were both very good with large portions and great prices. Servers were very attentive and we were a large group of 10.

Great sauces for all their dishes. Great atmosphere for mma viewing.

Good Mexican food! Waitress was right there, drinks, chips & salsa, and take my order. I had three different enchilidas with plenty of rice & beans. Good selection of Mexican cervazas. Check them out.
