Big Ed's

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! My husband and I rode the motorcycle here with other friends for a day ride. We traveled from Denver, CO. We ordered the T-bone steak. It was so good!!! It was seasoned perfectly! I needed no sauce and that's the first time. That was the best steak I've ever had at a restaurant and I've been to a lot of them. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're in Bird City or even if you are a few hours away - take a day trip and have dinner there. It's worth it! And the customer service was outstanding. They were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

The service and food is exceptional at Big Ed's!! We had 10 people in our party and we were served quickly and everything was accurate! The portions are large and reasonably priced. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and tender. The butterflied shrimp were huge and delicious. The prime rib was cooked perfectly. We also ordered 2 appetizer samplers that were excellent! We will definitely return to Big Ed's anytime we are in the area!

If you get over to Bird City, Kansas Big Ed's is a must stop for dinner. The owner will cook your steak to perfection, the beer is cold, and the staff is the best at handling even a full capacity restaurant at the peak dinner hours. There is plenty of seating and real salt & pepper shakers on the tables!! Save room for dessert and travel right next door to the little ice cream shop & cafe next door. Ice cream, miscellaneous other desserts and even fast food served there. Stop in and enjoy...its worth the drive!!!

The filet was good but I expect more than canned corn at a steakhouse; fresher is always better. Don’t set your heart on dessert, they only offer cheesecake; no pies, cakes or cobblers with ice cream. The atmosphere is nice, if you like little air conditioning and old chairs with the vinyl seats ripped.

Trust no one who wants a well done steak!!! I had a medium rare steak and it was done with perfection thank you cathy loop and thank you to the beautiful waitress that waited on me and my friend she did her job very well and I was very pleased with everything best experience I ever had !!!
