The Shack II

One of the better burger places I've visited. Hard to find if going for the first time, being right off the dam, but is completely worth it. Great food, great service, and overall great place that is family owned and reasonably priced (6 to 8$ per person). Cheese fries are amazing!!

Good food great for taking the team after a ball tournament. Large patio, solid service. They could spend some money updating the interior but if you like a good old burger joint this is it.

Got a single cheeseburger. Was VERY good. Fries were good too. Staff was friendly and service was quick. We’ll go back

Bad experience. The waitresses got two table’s orders wrong, including my order. They blamed the cooks for their mistakes. Unprofessional.nnOur table ordered our meal 10 minutes before a larger family of 8 did, and they received their order before ours. Also, the waitress gave me bbq wings instead of buffalo, rinsed the wings off, deep fried them again, sauced them again, and said that they would be removed from my ticket but only charged me half the price for the wings. The waitress became upset at ME when I told her, politely, that my wings were wrong. I was understanding, patient, and kind the whole time. I’m up at 2:23am because I have stomach ache. Stomach ache and pregnancy don’t go along.nnBoth waitresses then proceed to mock me as I stood from my table to leave and before hand when my husband and I waited for our correct orders. I could hear them from behind the bar, as there weren’t many people and music wasn’t playing. “There she goes. She’s about to stand from the table.”nnI’m a disabled veteran who is also pregnant. I walk funny because of my disability and pregnancy. I heard them mock my walk. That was more disappointing than anything... It was a slap to the face when I saw a placard on the way out saluting veterans.nnDisappointing.

A hidden gem with delicious food, but the most atrocious beer selection for a bar and grill which is why we don't go more often than we do. Eat at the shack but drink somewhere else.
