I insult by not naming names. Dianna your kindness put me at ease. Lindsey you are truly the best at what you do. My Dr S. thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a great human. These people are phenomenal .

My experience at Topeka ER was exceptional and I was very impressed by the level of care I received. I arrived around 2:00 am with horrible abdominal pain and vomiting that had been off and on for days. I was really afraid to go to an ER with COVID being so rampant in our county, but I knew I couldn’t wait to see doctor. When I arrived, the waiting room was empty, but very nice inside. The receptionist was very sweet and I could tell she cared about my wellbeing. I was brought back almost immediately and saw a doctor within a few minutes of arriving to my room. I had an IV inserted, blood drawn, medicine for pain, an ultrasound and a CT scan. My diagnosis was made and I was on my way out by 4:00 am! Amazing and speedy service.nThe doctor (Dr. Whitacre) was very thorough and explained everything so I could easily understand what was going on. The nurse taking care of me, Loretta, was so sweet and attentive.nI can honestly say I’ve never had such quick and attentive care in an ER. Maybe it’s because they weren’t as busy as a huge hospital ER. Whatever the reason, they will be my ER of choice for all future needs.

When my daughter dislocated her finger and they would not see her at an urgent care, we went to Topeka ER and Hospital. I was very impressed, from start to finish the staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The facility is very clean and very modern. I think it bears repeating that from the Doctor, Nurses, and Aides everyone was extremely kind. we will definitely be going back if the need ever arises.

Great experience! Everyone was wonderful, receptionist, nurses, nurses aide and physician! We needed something a bit more advanced than a walk in clinic but I wasn’t ready to sit in a major hospital ED for hours. We waited for just about 2 minutes then walked back to the room where we were greeted by the RN taking care of us. The aide that was helping was so great with my 11, as everyone was! They did labs and a scan with results back in very quickly. This is just what Topeka needed! This is going to be our new ED for these kinds of visits!

I was able to get in very quickly for my Covid testing.nThe staff was very friendly and helpful despite the fact they were very busy. My only recommendation would be to make sure that you contact your insurance first because this is technically an emergency room, not a clinic. The care is really good but I would advise people to clarify what will be covered otherwise you may be paying thousands of dollars for just an Office visit. Definitely worth going to if you want to get in quickly and not wait six hours at the local hospital emergency room.
