Johnny's Tavern Topeka

Nice atmosphere, great staff and good food.

We ordered a 12 inch pizza which had six pieces and was delivered to our table was zero cheese or sauce on two of the six pieces. I ordered a glass of white wine it was served at room temperature and I was charged double what in the other restaurant in Topeka charges I asked the waitress about it and she said that’s what it is.

Yep - another great restaurant. And here’s a place that put up some nice stylish sneeze shields that don’t look tacky. Not that they do anything for a Chinavirus, but it does help with noise between booths which was great. Oh, and excellent food. Mm hmm.

If you ever plan to eat here, ask for CJ if he’s working while you’re there. Hands down the best server I have ever had at a restaurant. He was very helpful with stuff on the menu. He gave suggestions, was very respectful, and made our visit a great one. We had a group of 6 and he made sure we all had what we needed. He was outgoing and made jokes with us the whole time. I would suggest asking for him. Great guy and an even better server!

Loved the outdoor space...fireside was taken but enjoyed snuggling at a table in view of the fireplace! Food and drinks were excellent ud83dudc4c
