We had our anniversary dinner here. I had the pork chop with jumbo grilled asparagus. I highly recommend. Pork chop very flavorful and juicy. My husband had the burnt ends sandwich with loaded potatoes. Super tender and juicy. All around a great dinner and awesome atmosphere

People! This is a hidden gem of Wichita! Absolutely incredible and exquisite food. We were very pleased with our meals in fact we were overjoyed to have been served such high quality food. The prices were very affordable, the portions were sizable. AVI's decor is rustic industrial mid century. Just beautiful. Our server Nathan was very attentive and kind. Gave us great service, sense of humor, and impeccable suggestions on the menu. Parking was great, easy to get in and out off Waco. The only issue we had is that the bar is too high to eat from, but the pub table was satisfactory for a party of 4. Definitely will be back! Thank goodness we found this place!

Had a great dinner here with some friends the other night. The service was great, wore his mask the whole time, and was really patient with a few of the ‘help me decide’ friends. I got the filet and it was cooked just right. Drinks are reasonable priced and it’s a nice atmosphere and is very clean. Will definitely be back.

The ambiance, location, and service are good. The seafoods, specifically the salmon and crab cakes, don’t match the decor in their quality though - slightly cold and flat. The sides are tasty though, and the fully sectioned booths feel relatively safe amidst the pandemic.

AVI is the COVID-19 sanctuary of tranquility and great food. A cove in the sea of chaos. It’s atmosphere, although humbled in light of the pandemic, is a welcome escape. The parmesan trout and blackened fish tacos are a fine catch. Our waiter,Sean, was as knowledgeable as he was accommodating. Conveniently located in the heart of Wichita. The only reason I gave a 4-star rating is because I believe no restaurant of this caliber should serve a screw cap wine.
