Service was prompt and excellent our server's name was Britney. Made are dining experience overwhelmingly nice. Food was served prompt and very very good, temperature on our food was perfect would highly recommend neighbors restaurant for super good home town style cooking to everybody. If you do not like this place then you probably should just stay home. Will absolutely go back numerous times. Met the owner great guy one of a kind, and somebody that actually cares about the customer and takes the time to make you feel welcome. Good place for lunch. Have special each day. Very good catfish meals. Common american food. Had the meat loaf w/ mash potatoes,green beans,roll. Tasty and filling. Got burgers,fries,other things. We call and ask ahead. Also have a bar section for people that drink

I tried this restaurant for the first time a couple of weeks ago. There weren't many people there. Our server was extremely slow, never refilled our drinks or checked on us. We actually hardly ever saw her out in the dining area. There was another waitress running around and it looked like she was doing a great job taking care of her tables. My boyfriend and I had both asked for a steak, cooked medium.nHis steak came out medium and mine came out well done. The steak and sides were just okay, definitely nothing special. The mashed potatoes came out cold.nI probably won't be back.

We got the 12 piece fried chicken dinner. Most of the chicken was prepared very well. 3 or 4 of the pieces were over cooked. I think this may have been a one off mistake. Others were nice and crispy, juicy , and seemed like quality chicken. We called the restaurant directly for a take out and that worked well. Mashed potatoes and gravy were very good. It came with a vegetable of the day which turned out to be corn and green beans, probably canned. I think I probably could have checked when I ordered and gotten just green beans which we would have preferred.

Friday night special prime rib with salad.nChoice of potato, vegetable. Great dessertnpie or cake. We save it for Sat or Sunnnight for something special.
