Good was not good znd the service was herendous

I had my usual salad (oriental chicken salad) and it was delicious as always. I tried the strawberry lemonade for the first time (I'm not normally a lemonade fan)and it was so luscious. Our server was fantastic, I wish I would've gotten his name, he was great, attentive and hilarious.

To be fair, we walked in 25 minutes before close. However, we were aware of this and had every intention of eating and leaving quickly. That being said, the host was palpably irritated by our presence. He looked directly at me, then continued taking to a co-worker as though the restaurant was empty. After finally loudly informing him there were two of us and we would like a booth, he sighed, grabbed a couple menus, and silently walked is across the restaurant.nOkay, fine. It's late, I get it.nNow, the very first thing the waiter announces upon greeting us is that it's now last call. Keep in mind, there's still 22 minutes until close. Okay, fine. I ordered two $2 Long Islands. The first was pure sour mix, and the second was just water with a splash of sour mix. By this point, I was frustrated and no longer hungry. My date said his steak was good. I still haven't eaten the burger that I took home whole.

Clean restaurant. Waited a little longer than I thought we should for someone to take our order. Our waiter was the bartender, great drinks. The wings were cold to the touch, the burger and fries were good. Didn't get any silverware, had to ask for napkins and got them after we got our food.

This place never ceases to amaze me. Our waiter was was very kind and courteous and was quick to get what we needed. The food was delicious!
