We just ate at Boots and it was very busy in there. Our food was delivered quickly and it was hot. Tasted good. If I had any issue it would be staff was not wearing masks, tables had a container that held napkins, straws and silverware for anyone and everyone to touch. Also condiments were on the table for anyone to touch. No hand sanitizer was at the door. I'm not from ND and don't know what the Covid rules are here. I'm only going by experience in other states. I masked going in and out.
Read the reviews. See the place is busy. So why was my meal so bad?nnThe Mac & cheese was terrible. What was served didn't match the menu description. There was no cheese in the Mac & cheese, some kind sauce on the mac, onions not caramelized, no crispy bead crumbs. It was just bad. Sent it back.nnThe kitchen only knows how to cook a hamburger two ways....very well done and charcoal briquette! The first hamburger was a briquette. The replacement, asked to be cooked medium juicy, was very well done. They are advertised as 1/3 but look more like 1/4.nnMcDonalds serves a better hamburger.
We're staying at Boots Campground and decided to do carry out. Was told it would be a 25 minute wait but I think that was about 10 minutes too long judging by the temperature of the food when we got it. After a quick heat up in the microwave, it was still a very good Elk burger and Western burger. Fries were good and the side salad was very large. Seemed like a fun atmosphere.
Good food, beautiful views, awesome service. Really liked the food. Good areas to sit at. Good food. A good assortment of local and sort of local beers. The service though, was great. Our waitress was so good that one in our party said, you are my favorite. High praise and well deserved.
Great outdoor seating! We didn't ear there so I can't rate that. They have a pretty good beer selection. They seemed a little spendy but the deck out back was shady and really nice.
