Admittedly wasn't excited to find out only two options on Sundays - Fried Chicken and BBQ ribs. I ordered the ribs and they were fantastic!nnDefinitely will be back. For days, other than Sunday, they have a menu that should have something for everyone to enjoy.nnStaff friendly. Atmosphere is appropriate for Flint Hills.
This is always my lunch stop on the way back from Cassidy motorcycle run. With covid there is no buffet no more but they still have a fried chicken dinner that is and was why we stop. I use to get the bison burger but that has not been offered in years, too bad as they did it great.
The Sunday specials are especially amazing. The fried chicken dinner is worth the stop alone! The regular menu is also delicious. We appreciate that the integrity of the historic site is intact.
Stopped in for lunch on our way through and weren't disappointed. Our meals were prepared fast and yet cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The staff all wore their masks and although the seating was still a little close for our comfort it wasn't egregious. Definitely worth a stop.
Delicious! August 2020. Better than Home cooking with 10 stars. I have eaten there twice, tender prime kansas rib first night and then breaded tenderloin with garlic mash potatoes and chocolate pie dessert..WOW
