Would not deposit a 529 College Savings reimbursement check made payable directly to me as owner of the college savings account and checking account from a major brokerage firm into my capital federal account. Had to talk to teller, supervisor and manager. Went to another capital federal branch. Deposited without issue. Looks like they need some additional training, as no reason they could not deposit check per current banking laws/rules. I try to avoid this branch and have banked at Capital Federal for years, seem to always have some issue at this location.

Kind staff and very accommodating. The reviews seem dated compared to the experiences I've had here. They even recommended different types of accounts when I accumulated money for better interest rates. Free coin machine for account holders and 2 all day atms outside.

Imagine... losing your personal belongings and walking into a bank to find out what you need to do to replace your debit card and secure your account only to be treated like a criminal. A younger guy who was in a power of position... instead of fully understanding the situation shut down any request to help me solve my problems. Rude, horrible customer service, and lack of understanding customer needs. Seriously, still a little stunned about how rude he was... understand the problem before you try and address it. Horrible experience.
