When i first opened my account, not yet acclimated to the web interface, I had miscalculated my available funds in checking and a large payment was scheduled that wouldn't have cleared. I was extremely impressed when got a call from a real human, man named Eric (i think), who asked if I'd like him to transfer funds from my savings at no charge. It made me feel like i had chosen a bank that would have my best interest & deliver exceptional personable service, which i would've never expected from a virtual-like bank. I now only get automated calls, but since that one time, I've not miscalculated my funds. Anyway, it was nice to be treated like a person instead of just a number!

Opening a business account was easy and the online access and deposit by mobile is great. Banking online is easy. I didn't have any hesitation banking with a bank located in a different state. I don't feel the need to have a B&M location since all of my banking needs can be taken care of on my phone.

I've never had any problems banking, the mobile deposit has really been a saver so that I did not have to physically go into the bank itself. It's reassuring during these pandemic times.

Great service for an online bank. I know they have physical locations in Kansas, but since I am only using their banking services online, that's what I am reviewing. I use this as a secondary account and a place to hold a portion of my reserves. The low fees can't be beaten, and I do not regret having them as my go to bank for my online needs. I have spoken to the same personal bankers on multiple occasions, so this makes me feel as if this is a private bank that caters to me. I highly recommend them.

NBKC is EXACTLY what I needed. A bank that values their customers, makes things easy, and isn't inundating me with fees.
