Mike came out to our house last night to check out our Reef tank. He was respectful and thorough.nAbout 3 mouths ago we came home from the lake to find out one of our power heads had electrified our tank. Mike was very knowledgeable about this and came over to see if it was ready to start a new cycle.nHe gave very good ideas. He found out that our lights were dying and saved us from spending money on coral. He even offered to come back out and set up the lights when the new ones come.nWe knew it will be a long ride but we re excited to travel it.nIf your looking for one on one experience his your man.
I wanted to have a couple of experiences before I wrote a review to give it a fair assessment. When I pulled up to the house I didn't know what to expect, but I am glad that I gave it a try. The garage is converted to his tank room and everything is spotless and clean. Mike goes all out for customer service, and is super helpful, super knowledgeable, and just an all around good proprietor. He really goes out of his way to make sure he answers all your questions and tells you what you need to do to be successful. He doesn't have a ton of stock compared to other bigger LFS, but what he does have looks very healthy. I bought a coral off him and as a matter of routine I dip all my corals before adding to the tank. Not a single thing came off that coral. Not one flatworm, not one bristleworm, not one starfish, nothing. Cleanest coral hands down that I have gotten from any LFS. 2 weeks later and coral is doing great. Today I went to pick up some RODI water, and we spent the whole time talking about Dinos and he offered to come over and help diagnose and treat them if the stuff that I am trying doesn't work. Seriously one of the best LFS in our area, give him a try and you won't be disappointed.
