Rehabilitation Hospital of Overland Park

This was my second stay at the rehab hospital and must say it was just as good as my first visit. Everyone had a lot of impathy. One thing that sets them apart from other hospitals is if you don’t absolutely need medications they don’t just give them to you. From the CEO all the way down to housekeeping, I had a great experience. Including all the nurses, therapists and doctors. My therapists Jessica and Marissa and entire staff was amazing. They don’t give up and don’t give up on you. I would and have highly recommended the Rehabilitation Hospital of Overland Park. Thank you for everything.nnDenver Williams

RUN-my Mom has been here twice this summer. Will NEVER allow her to go back and will tell everyone I know how awful the nursing staff is! Communication is horrible between all staff and patient family. Nurses pay zero attention to patients even after numerous calls. And don’t dare go to the nurse station. You get told “when I get done with my reports I’ll check on her. I have 8 other patients! Don’t start with me tonight!” No follow up from management re: this and I spoke to the chief of nursing that night. NEVER AGAIN! Now trying to get a copy of itemized bill for insurance and they can’t give me one?????

Oh my goodness. The Rehab Hospital of Overland Park was a Godsend. The nurses, CNAs, and everyone was fantastic. They went above and beyond what they needed to. They were very caring and concerned. The therapists were fantastic! They were the most caring and concerned therapists I ever met. They understood when I had to rest because I was out of breath but, they pushed when I needed to be pushed and knew when I didn't need to be pushed. Nurse Diane, the wound nurse is amazing. She knew exactly how to do my wound and has made them heal so much. Jocelyn the nurse is an angel. She works so hard and gives so much of herself and is so caring and understanding. She deserves 10 stars. The Rehab of Overland Park is blessed to have such a nurse. There is so much more I want to say that is great about this place but, I don't know how say it. Thank you for letting me be here.

I have been through a lot in the past five years. I was hit by a semi and I have been getting rebuilt for the last five years. I’ve been to multiple therapy places after multiple surgeries. Of all the therapy places I have been, had a come here in the first place I would be much further along in my rehabilitation. My therapists, Marissa and Jessica, were amazing. They have the empathy, passion, and experience to work with patients on a daily basis. They make the hard work experience for the patients easier, and they make it fun. The nursing staff, especially Irene has been great as well. Irene has the empathy and has been there with me every step of the way anytime I need it. I have future surgeries coming up, and this will be the first place I go for any rehabilitation needs.
