Fantastic homestyle chicken in a great atmosphere. Honestly one of the better chicken restaurants in the area, with amazing sides. Full bar is available at this restaurant as well as beer and wines. The only thing I can complain about was the service as absolutely atrocious did not get my drinks refilled a single time throughout the entire dining experience and rarely even saw my waiter even though It wasn't very busy at the time, might do to go next time

Loved this place! Had an awesome waiter. Got the fried chicken for 4. Highly recommend the House Roquefort salad dressing. It is oil and vinegar it blue cheese crumbles. Same family owns Jess and Jim's Steak House. I thought RC's was as good, if not better than Stroud's. Give it a try!

After seeing the amazing reviews my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. We got carry out Buffalo chicken sandwich, a regular chicken sandwich, and gizzards & liver. I only lived 5 minutes away so I figured it would travel fine. I am not sure if we just happen to come at an off time (Saturday at noon) or what but the chicken sandwiches and the gizzards were just awful. The gizzards were so tough I could not even bite through them. The sandwiches were *extremely* soggy and the chicken honestly seemed old. I ended up getting sick a few hours after eating it and I have a raccoon gut. The only thing decent was liver.

A party of 5 of us visited for dinner tonight (10-31-20). The server introduced herself as a new server which was no problem with us. She took our order and entered our appetizers and salad order as we requested. After waiting for 30 plus minutes see came to our table and was very professional and apologized that see forgot to turn our entree order in. Shortly the owner appeared at our table and apologized, but seemed to make lite of the situation. We received our order about 15 minutes later from the owner, but never had any follow up to ensure our satisfaction. We were looking for nothing, other than a sincere apology from the owner. Yes, we did leave a 20% gratuity.nThe food for most part was good.

We were in the KC area this weekend, so a small group (9) of my husband's family got to together at RC's for dinner. The food was excellent and the service was great. They are known for their pan-fried chicken, and it lived up to it's reputation! My friend loves fried chicken! Some members of our party had shrimp and fish. They said those meals were also very good. If you love good fried chicken and home style cooking RC's is the place to be.
