UMB Bank (with drive-thru services)

I had the ABSOLUTE worst experience ever! My card and my checking account (with another bank) was compromised. My job had to stop my direct deposit & cut me a check. I go to cash it and Aidon (the bank manager) tells me due to COVID-19 that they can't cash my check unless I'm a member! First of ALL, I'm in the drive thru. And second of all it has the name of my job and that it's a payroll account through UMB. I told him all of this and he didn't even offer to call my job to verify. I asked him for his last name and he said he didn't have to give it to me. I would never suggest UMB to anyone. I called my job and they called the president and my check was cashed. So, he could've solved it in one phone call. I truly hope if Aidon is ever in a crisis someone has more compassion for him then he had for me. If I could rate them zero stars I would...

Dani & Sean are the absolute best of the best at their jobs!! Between my husband and I we have 8 accounts at UMB including our personal and our businesses, and we can come to them with any questions or concerns any time and they help us work through it, with the utmost kindness and care. I will be a UMB member for life because of how great they have been to us. Highly recommend!

Absolute worst experience I have ever had in 30yrs. Don't answer their phone call or return messages. my wife & I are more than qualified for the loan. We could pay it in cash but would rather invest it.

I'm sitting in the drive thru. It's Fri they have one drive thru open for commercial and one for regular customers not sure if the lady in front of me has even been helped but I've been waiting for over 15 minutes. This location should have more people working here. I've been to the Grandview location and never have these issues. I wouldn't even give them one star but I had to pick one.

I have been a customer for at 30 years. Always have a pleasant experience in the Lobby, outside teller or when calling in.
