Ku Acute rehabilitations is beyond a wow!!! Staff ... everything amazing! Scheduled rehab is amazing

The receptionist needs tips on working with patients & the KU phone system to direct people calling for an appointment to the proper department & phone # instead of immediatly transferring them to the hospital operator without saying a word.nK U Med is huge, & there are lots of phone numbers for various departments. Personally, I would rather know their direct number. The operators there are very busy, & waiting on hold for awhile can be very tiresome.nWhen I finally did get the # I needed (The Spine Center) I was asked to hold twice (2 different days) I finally gave the gentleman (who was obviously very busy) my number to call me back. Today is Thursday June 27 t h. I've been trying to make an appointment forever it seems, & getting not very far. I wish I could make an online appointment!

The nurses here are great! The only problem I've seen so far is that the different groups that help out with the patients do not seem to communicate very well making thing very confusing for the patients and their families.
