St. Francis Medical Center

Went in with abdominal pain. They correctly diagnosed appendicitis very quickly and got me into surgery within an hour or two. Because of COVID I was not able to have anyone in the hospital with me. Staff was very comforting and helped with the anxiety of the surgery. Surgery happened without issues and staff was fantastic during my recovery. Some of the surgery staff even came in and checked up on me to see how I was doing. Thank you St.Francis for all you did and making me feel like a person, not a number. BTW food there is really good. You get an actual menu selection.

I went there one time and had the worst experience ever. They told me I ruptured a cyst, but gave no antibiotics, even though my white blood count was elevated. They ignored the mass in my abdomin (which turned out to be cancer). I didn't see any compassion a medical staff should have, especially in an ER. They were more worried about being in the room as little as possible. I had only one good nurse out of everyone there, but I will not go back there, EVER!

So bad! Avoid! The doctor's advice was 100% wrong. So glad I didn't take her advice, went immediately to another clinic where I quickly and easily got the antibiotics I needed to treat Lyme disease, which requires very early treatment to prevent serious health issues. Find a different walk-in clinic!
