I first got on the K.U. Program in 1982 or'83. I can't remember the exact year. Perhaps this memory loss Is a symptom of long term methadone maintenance. In any event, back then it was a' blind dose' clinic. Meaning you didn't know from day to day what your dose would be.nI absolutely love the changes that have been implemented. For instance I've been on many clinics in 43 years from the West Coast to the East, dealt with an array of staff personalities. Most of which made you feel unworthy and incapable to succeed in this world,'but at least you've tried'.nIt's important that I clarify something before I go on....nI AM DEFINITELY NOT REFERRING TO ANY PERSON WORKING ANY POSITION AT WHAT I'D CONSIDER THE FINEST CLINIC IN KANSAS CITY.nSince returning for treatment going on 3 years ago, I feel empowered

When my boyfriend had to be here for awhile the staff was amazing. Always greeted me and if I had any questions they would either answer it or find the answer for me. The nurses are just fantastic. Dr. Andrews is awesome. We were comfortable with the whole team we had. They made a hard time a little bit easier for us.
