U.S. Bank Branch

Went in to set up a standard checking account and was denied service. The banker was rude and unhelpful.nnSet up a bank account with another bank and had no problems whatsoever.nnI wanted to use the service to deposit a check into a new account which I will eventually transfer all of my finances to, I told her this first. I mentioned that if your checking account is $6.95 a month then I might not keep the account very long, because that is a lot for a bank account.nnShe immediately switched and refused service and said she would not help me if I was going to close my account in the future despite my own financial needs.nnOpening and closing of my account is my own business and she is there to provide a service, I would be paying for the account and the service on a monthly basis until I didn’t need the account anymore. So the loss to the financial institution would be 0. They would gain monthly fees!nnSo I left, and took my business elsewhere.nnVery NEGATIVE experience, and I left feeling unhappy and misunderstood.nnHer name was Alyssa. Poor listening skills.
